Where are you going and how much is it costing your girls? I'd really like to go away but don't want it to cost them a fortune!

i am going to vegas

i paid for the suite so they had to get airline tickets...i dont know how much they all got it for but i think MOH found it for herself for just a little over $300 with taxes and all and they chipped in to get my flight since i paid the suite.

so $300 plus spending money they'll bring. Well one BM had a free flight one-way so she probably paid just a little over $100 so she has it the best lol. I remember seeing some flights in the $200's range around the time they booked but went up a week later so not sure when they got it

That's what I'd really like to do. FH and I have been that time of year and it's scorching! I love it though and would spend my whole day at the pool lol.

How many people do you have staying in your suite? I'll have two free roundtrip flights on jetblue plus additional credits that people can use.

We are most likely spending a weekend in South Beach. My best friend actually lives down there and is an event planner, so she gets awesome discounts at most hotels. If the hotels are too much though, we will most likely just stay at her place.

Can't wait!

I'll even take South Beach as an alternative! I just don't want people spending a lot. How many people do you have going with you?

Yes, there is so much to do down there!

Well, not all of my BM can make it there bc a couple of them have children... I'd say there will be about 4-5 girls going down. You can get really cheap flights down there, esp through JetBlue and there are SO many hotels to choose from!

Re: For those that have or are going away for your b-party

We were originally going to go to Vegas but the flights were over $400 by the time we were ready to book and I didn't think it was fair to ask my girls to pay that much PLUS hotel. So we decided on South Beach, got the flight for 202 and hotel will probably come to about 150-200 each with four girls in each room. I think that is pretty reasonable and everyone seems really excited about it. South Beach is also a little easier because some people didn't want to take a day off of work so they are coming Friday night and with Vegas the flight is long and you lose almost a whole day flying back so it worked out well all around. Oh, I think right now I have 12 girls going. Can't wait!!

Re: For those that have or are going away for your b-party

if you start looking from ahead of time you can find good deals in vegas...FH got so D*MN lucky, he got two 2 bedroom suites for $650 a night it was this special rate mandalay did for just a week...i booked my suite a week later and just about every suite in mandalay was booked except for one small one which wouldnt sleep enough of us. Most of the hotels were booked, there was one 2 bedroom suite available at the palms, which was my first choice so i was excited about that...well i was searching for palms or mandalay. I wish i couldve gotten a deal like fh

i just went directly on the hotels site..for palms i went on their site and same with mandalay. WHen i booked i called them though...remember on sites it will show you special rates but not necessarily every room available, the 2 br suite at the palms i dont think was listed when i was searching to book, well they show it but couldnt see if it was available. Theres also fantasy suites that are a little bit more but they're SOOO HOTT, they were all booked
