For those that have registered.....

besides appliances--you can do everyday plates and formal dinnerware.

we registered for a lot of cute party hosting stuff, like chips & dip bowl sets, ceramic dipping sets, wine/bar sets, etc. i love having little dinner parties!

you can register for sheets, towels, bathroom accessories, etc.

Well beside appliances we did like kitchen accesories...you know like measuring cups, can opener, ice cream scoops,etc. We also did some stuff like a vacuum, phone, etc.
We only went once and we're gonna do a lil bit at a time so its not so overwhelming and confusing. Also, the people told me try not to register for sheets and towels and that kind of stuff until about 4 months before the wedding bevause it typically discontinues with each season.

I agree. You could also do your glasses, silverware, any picture frames that you like, any pre printed pictures that you like. Also your laundry stuff, like hampers, iron, ironing board

Did you put your kitchen knife block set? pots & pans?

let's see... I have...

kitchen appliances
all variety of cookware - pots and pans, bakeware, mixing bowls, cutting boards, utensils, etc, etc, etc.
bedding
bathroom stuff - towels, etc
decorative stuff - picture frames, photo albums, vases, etc
everyday china
formal china
glassware (juice glasses, stemware, etc)
flatware
fun stuff - massager, foot bath, etc
a whole bunch of odds and ends. I just walked through the store and scanned things that I thought would be useful - a nice stainless steel kitchen trash can, various little doodads, recipe books, and so on.

Take your mom! I did and we didnt' miss a thing... she thought of the useful things I wouldn't have thought of!

Register for fine china, everyday dishes, towels, linens, comforter, blankets, appliances (blender, food processor, iron, coffee maker), good knives, cutlery, table clothes and napkins, bar items (cocktail shakers, glasses, etc.)
