Is anyone else kind of upset that this is going to be your last Thanksgiving/ Christmas/ holiday season at home??? I'm starting to get a little 'awww' about it, maybe im just a mush lol

Last year was my last since this year I'm spending turkey day with FH's family. Next year it's back to my parents! Yes, this will be weird with Christmas, but I'm excited about next year too.

Yeah! I can't believe it, I keep saying omg this is my last thanksgiving not married! Our parents live so far apart from each other... his in Pittsburgh, mine here... and we don't know where we'll be living yet next year, so I don't even know who we'll get to see for the holidays!
At the same time though I'm excited that next year i'll actually get to be with FH on the holidays! I miss him, he's with his family on vacation in North Carolina right now...

The only holiday that will be weird is not waking up at my parents house on Christmas. But it hasn't been the same the last few years anyway with everyone going in different directions so I guess it really isn't that big of a deal.

yeea i know what you mean, my FH lives here, but we always seperate for the holidays and then meet up at the end of the day for like dessert or whatever, it's weird to know that next year ill be waking up next to him and spending the whole time together! exciting and scary!!!

No... this is my FIRST thanksgiving NOT spending it with my family!!!!!! I'm going to my future sister in law's house upstate and I'm having a really hard time with this knowing my whole family will be here :(

Well I wasn't really thinking about it....till now! It will be weird, but I'm so looking forward to waking up next to FH on Christmas morning (and every morning), and both our families live on LI and we're planning on staying on LI for a bit too...so it shouldn't be too bad next year.

it is sad...and it is going to be stressful next year trying to compromise on the holidays and who do you spend them with and what not....but it will all work out...

It is very weird to think it's the last and somewhat upsetting especially since my family is so small and i hate leaving them for anything, but it will be nice to start new traditions with FH. I'm sure it will get easier over the years!

I actually live with my FH and still with my parents.
Just last night Fh and I were picking out music and i started crying hehehe
It is very emotional I have always been very close with my parents and YES I am daddy and mommys little girl.
I get very emotional lately since its 52 days away that I will no longer be living in my parents house.

OMG yes!! well it will not be my last thanksgiving because i will always come home for that since FH goes hunting,. but i will miss waking up on christmas moring and opening presents like im 7 years old...

well... i hadn't thought of that so thanks for making mush at work lol but every now and then when I go to sleep I think 'This isn't going to be my room anymore soon...' little things like that kinda make me mush up...
