Is anyone else kind of upset that this is going to be your last Thanksgiving/ Christmas/ holiday season at home??? I'm starting to get a little 'awww' about it, maybe im just a mush lol

Well... i didnt really think about it for Thanksgiving.... but christmas is what really upsets me. Waking up in the morning and me and my sisters all wait for eachother to wake up and go downstairs together.... my mom always leaves out our presents as if Santa came.... I am getting all depressed just thinking about it!!!!

Absolutely, it's all I keep thinking about everytime a new Holiday passes. I'm a mush too lol It's going to be so weird not being with my family for every holiday.

i had that feeling last year----BUT this year its replaced with 'omg this is my FIRST MARRIED thanksgiving!!!'
i like that a lot.....i can't wait to spend turkey day with my husband!

This is my second year back in my parents house after almost 8 years of living w/ FH in VA so I guess I don't really feel any sadness due to having been separate before. But we always come back for holidays b/c FH loves my mom's cooking.

Not sad at all.
We didn't even have a tree last year b/c my house was and still is under major construction.
We had a Christmas plant, decorated with one strand of lights. God only knows what will have this year because He only knows what happened to that plant.

i will still be living in my parents' house and i am STILL sad that everything will be a bit different for our next holidays
if you couldn't tell i am having a REALLY hard time these final two months

I def understand what you are feeling...it will be my last, it is def time, bu it is still strange/upsetting in a way...fh and i will be nearby, so not much should change except that I will not be waking up there anymore...you are not alone in your feelings...

i;ve been thinking about that alot! i think once i realize it will be my last christmas morning/breakfast with the fam, i will get upset.

Yeah it's sad. My brother has already moved out but my two sisters still live at home and I'll miss them when I wake up on Christmas morning! Plus I'll miss out on all the extra gifts! Well we all have to move out sometime.

Yeah I'm a little sad and my poor mother is a wreck b/c my brother just dropped the bomb that he is moving out by December 1! Once I am married and move out, she is gonna have some MAJOR empty-nest syndrome :(
I am looking forward to making our own traditions.

Ive been thinking this a lot lately too and even though I do have problems every once in awhile with my parents and my sister, Im definitly going to miss my 'home'.

i know, this whole year has been mixed emotions, i am so excited to get married and move on but on the other hand sad to leave my house and all my routines. There won't be any more getting home from work and going to my room and relaxing until dinner's ready!!!!!

yes and it is strange and next year I will not wake up in my house to my parents cooking breakfast. I guess I will begin to do what my sister and her family do and come over early in the morning for breakfast. Luckily I will have the luxury of doing this because I will be 3 minutes away in the same town . I couldn't image being far away.

Before I had to change my date I felt that way....it had me pretty sad...but thankfully, i'll still be here next year this time...it gives me a chance to come to terms with it..
