For those traveling (repost from NWR)

For those traveling (repost from NWR)

FI told me this last night, if you are traveling through JFK there will be a zero tolerance. Especially if we go to war. There will be armed guards, military, police, and undercover guards.

TSA's will search everything and everyone.

IF you do not follow the orders (your bags being searched, starting a problem, etc..) a supervisor will come over to you and will tell you, take your bags and you will be escorted off the grounds of the airport and you will not be getting on your plane.

TSA's are federal employees and you must comply to there requests (but if you are not comfortable you can request a supervisor) Its for your safety.

So I just want to let everyone know if you are traveling anytime soon and especially if we go to war plan on getting to the airport at least 2 - 3 hours before your flight because of the heavy security checks.

I flew last week and they even went through everyones belongings then. THey checked my whole luggage even though it wasnt a carryon. I am glad they are doing this. It makes me feel safer to fly.

I flew into Maine this afternoon from LGA, and there was not a single national guard person in the terminal I was shocked!! I'm expected a huge military presence, but there was none!!! The process I went through was exactly the same as any other time I have flown!

not sure why, but i found it odd. it was the terminal for a major carrier so it wasn't just the shuttles or anything, these were regular planes.
