For those who are MARRIED or NOT...
I am real confused on how the ceremony works and in what order everything comes in. We are having an interfaith wedding and both the Deacon and the Cantor said it’s about ½ hour long (good because I can’t sand for to long).
We want to do:
The Sand Ceremony – is there special wording for this?
The Hand Ceremony – already have the wording
Release of Doves – already booked and we’ll probably do this at the end after we kiss.
We met with the Deacon for a small piece of Pre Cana, but explained nothing about the ceremony and I should have asked, but didn’t. What else is involved? I know FH has to break the glass, but when? What order does this stuff usually takes place? TIA
