Is your per room rate lower than if you randomly went online and booked a room for that night? Mine is more expensive and I am supposedly getting a discounted rate for blocking rooms!?!?! The sales manager will not call me back and I am FUMING!

I think I know the hotel you're talking about and I had the SAME problem with the mananger never calling me back. This happened early enough for me where I ended up booking rooms with a different hotel.

Keep calling--definitely mention how long you've been waiting for her to call you back!! I can't see how she won't give you the cheaper rate, when you ask....that's not good business...

I think that it is a guaranteed rate and the price of the rooms would probably go up as you get closer to the date, but you are locked in.

Our rate was definitely cheaper for the block, plus I went online and found the same hotel offered at an ever CHEAPER rate for our wedding weekend-and they met that price. Sorry you're going through this hassle!!
