OK, I didn't do my bach party there, but I can help a bit!
I prefer the North Fork, I don't know much about the south fork winerys- BUT, if you do South Fork, you can go tot he Hamptons after, because -Yes, most Wineries close early.

On the North Fork, Pindar and Martha Clara both have are seating areas whee you can bring your own picnic lunch and relax. Definitely group friendly.
Hope this helps a bit!
Oh- and for dinne ron the North Fork- Cooperadge Inn, Baiting Hollow- my favorite!

I did this for my bach party ... I had 25 girls and we visited Pindar, Bedell, Peligrini and Martha Clara .. we had no problems at all going with a large group. We rented a limo for the day and it drove us from place to place

We just had my bach party out there this wknd...it was awesome! We went to Vineyard 48, Pellegrini, Pugliese and Pindar. You can do more or less depending on how long you want to stay at each vineyard. We did the tastings and than bought some bottles and went outside to relax and drink them. A few of them had live music and great picnic areas. If you are still in the planning stages, you can use liwines.com. Jim set up the tour and coordinated the limo bus, vineyards (tastings fees), lunch. etc. Good luck...you will have a blast!

We did this for my best friends bachelorette. We went to Martha Clara first and they let us have lunch delivered there from a local deli. If you call them, they can recommend one and schedule your time there. Of course, they have tastings. they were really nice there and easy to deal with.

Then we went to Pindar, and Pugliese. Pindar was not easy too deal with at all and the staff wasn't so nice to us when we got there. I wouldn't recommend them. But, Pugliese was awesome. We did some tastings and you can purchase bottles of wine there for them to open and hang out outside. They have picnic tables set up. We were supposed to go to another vineyard, but had too much fun there.

Good luck!

Just an observation/word of advice: I've seen quite a few bachelorette parties out at the wineries, and there have been a few times where one or 2 of the girls don't hold their wine very well...I've witnessed a few pass outs & some vomiting right outside tasting rooms....just be respectful, careful, and look out for each other. I know they're wineries, but they're not bars!
With that said, have a wonderful time--there are fabulous, beautiful vineyards on Long Island with great wines , so enjoy!

What a great idea!! If you go on the North Fork, try Raphael, you can tak your last glass of wine outside and it's so beautiful!! I'm partial to Raphael though- FH's aunt works there. Enjoy!!
