for those who did DIY card box, where did you get the boxes from?

for those who did DIY card box, where did you get the boxes from?

i plan on making the card box with my bms but i'm trying to figure out how big the boxes are and where to get them from.

i saw a couple of boxed sets from jo-ann fabrics but their like 7in, 6in, 5in boxed sets. is that too small? i'm also thinking maybe just using the shoe boxes (like the Ugg boxes).

any ideas?

You can get free boxes from the post office that I know some girls have recommended.

My mom is painted ours... She bought two of those plain brown circular boxes from Michael's and plans cutting holes in the top of the larger box and the bottom of the smaller box and stacking them. Without stacking, it wouldn't be tall enough...

Yup, this is what I did.. and bought all the accessories at Michaels and my local dollar store... Pictures in my album!!

They have them at Joanne's, AC Moore, Michaels and a bunch of places online.

i got the round one from michaels for 12 dollars and the bottom one...shhh don't tell anyone...is a flat rate shipping box that I got from the post office for free!
