For those who had problems with Macy's..

Can anyone help me.. are there any tricks or anything> I call the a$$holes in customer service and they aren't servicing me for $hit.. keep telling me that it'll be in any day now WTF does that mean?

I have not had any experience with them but I have had problems with other stores. I finally went to the store in person and got the answers I wanted.

Yep, it was.. It was supposed to be delivered on 12/12 and they are now telling me that the 4th piece (I ordered a 4 piece sectional) is not yet in.. I was like well I need it for xmas and they are like well you need to contac the sale assoc. that helped you and they can call the warehouse and see if it came in..
It may have come in but someone may not have gotten to it yet, WTF?!?

I ordered it from Macy's Herald Square.. so it's kind of crazy for me to go there.. that place is a ZOO

call customer service and the guy in the store who sold it to you! thats what we did

I called basically every other day and annoyed them to death and still nothing. My issue was very different than yours as far as furniture - my items were defective and stained and they knocked holes in my floor.

Finally, I found a wonderful sales person who went out of her way to help me (and it still took another 3-4 weeks to resolve after that!) but it was after much trouble and different stories from many diff. cust, svc. reps. I even called my sales person who didn't do a damn thing. She had her commision and could care less even when I said I was thinking of cancelling my order to her. I have no advice but good luck.

I have to say - the problem that you described is such a common theme among many of these furniture companies. They tell you when it should be in and then you call and get 12 different stories or defective items and then they take forever to do something about it. I had similar with C&B and Pottery Barn. My friend is having huge issues with Ethan Allen.

Thank you sweetie.. It is such a PAIN.. they do not give a crap AT ALL.. Well, they called the warehouse and apaprently the missing piece is NOT in and it won't be in until Dec. 28.. I am pissed.. b/c you have to figure that it should be in by the 28th and then they have to schedule the delivery which could take 2 weeks...

=(

So the other sales associate called and they are going to deliver the 3 peices on Sunday and they will monitor hte other piece and will call me to give my updates and I got a $75 gift cert.

I am gald they at least split the order for you. That is good. $75 ain't much but at least it is something.....maybe you got the nice person I had because she also issued me a gift card!

UGH!!!!!!!! I HATE MACYS right now. We ordered our couch 14 weeks ago and it STILL isnt here! They told us 8-10 weeks. I keep fighting with them on the phone. I am about ready to cancel my couch. I wanted the couch before Thanksgiving and now it is almost Christmas and still nothing!

Well, we got 3 of the 4 peices yesterday.. It looks soo good but I just can't wait for the other piece to come in.. I'll have to call and harass them this week.
