for those who had/will have donations as their favors

how did you 'present' them to guests and did you give them something else as well? we arent sure how much we are going to give either but we know this is something that we would love to do.

I'm going to put a Note card on everyone's plate in an envelope that says thank you and on the inside, thank them for join us and let them know we are donanting to the charity that FH's dad passed from in his memory.

I am not giving something with it.

If you donate to the Cancer Research Foundation they actually give you a card for each of your guests. They personalize the card for your wedding and give an explanation of the charity as well. They also send you a live strong bracelet for each guest in white as well if you want it to leave it out with each card.

we give personalized DIY CDs with the spotlight songs from the night and our e-pics burned on it (as a label), in addition to our donations. the CD was in a gold envelope that also acted as my escort cards.

as for your donation you should do what ever you can.

We had chocolate bars made and put the donation information on the wrapper.

a wedding i went to did notecards on the plates say that a donation was made and the charites they donated to.

I donated to st. jude and they made these bookmarks for me and I added the sage ribbons to go with my wedding colors. Then I also ordered mint tins as a little somethning extra.

Sorry, I meant Cancer Research Foundation offers the above. But ALOT of different charities will give you cards to put out:)

I think we're doing donations, but our placecard holders are picture holders (not frames, its a heart with the little curly stick that holds a picture). These can double as a favor - you can use that instead of getting something extra and that way you can give more to the charity :)
