For those who have been to Spain!

Original post by FutureJOC

if you had 2 full days to spend in Spain, where would you go?

We are trying to figure out this trip to Europe in the summer for FH's cousin's wedding. We are definitely doing London and the Ireland but befroe we get to London we would like to go somewhere else for 2 days and then (if possible) take the train into London.

We thought about Italy but the train ride would be way too long, so that's out.

France is definitely still an option but FSIL was thinking of doing Spain, which I am totally down for as well.

So, now the issue lies of where in Spain do we go? I was thinking either Barcelona but if anyone has any other suggestions that would be awesome! Also, not sure of the train situation with Spain either (if it's the same deal as Italy than we are just going to do France)

THANKS!

Also Amsterdam, Netherlands or Belgium is just across the water from England...

I went to France and didn't like it except for South France because we were on the Mediterranean.

HTH

belguim is very nicce esp the waffles too!!! lol

and amsterdam is amazing probably one of the most gorgeous places ive ever been too that didnt have an ocean!.. they have the tulip fields there - amazing and the canal boat rides, casions, and the whole area is amazing and everyone rides bikes barely any cars!!!

well it's looking like Spain and Italy are now out simply due to the distance we'd have to travel to get to London afterwards. We are looking into Belgium and Amsterdam now as well. Thanks girls for all your help!

What if you spent some time just outside of London? Bath is an amazing town!
