Is your bridal party getting their makeup done as well? My bridesmaids aren't because frankly, the prices are out of their budget, and I can't say I blame them.
The difficulty I am having then, is that I cannot book a makeup artist if its just me thats getting makeup done (the 3 vendors that i have contacted told me they have a minimum # in order to book)
So- if you have already booked a makeup person and its only YOU, the bride getting theirs done, can you please tell me who you are using? Thanks!

why don't you try someone from Clinique or Mac or something like that.

My mom, grandma, MOH and 2 bridemaids will be getting their makeup done. But Dina from Beautiful Possibilities (a vendor here) might be able to work with you. Check her out!

I am using Mya from Cosmetic Artistry. She never mentioned a minimum so I am sure she will come just for you.

Mine will come to you and is VERY affordable- you can be the only person. She comes to you and uses MAC makeup. She works at the MAC store at Roosevelt Field on the weekends. Her name is Nicole Tenga.
i was going to suggest her too!! USE NICOLE!!!!!!!!!! she was AMAZING on my day!!!! she's started her own business now too (FM me if you would like her phone #). She did such an amazing job- she turned this mess into a Princess she is soooooooo sweet, and her prices are Great!!! i seriously cannot reccomend her enough!
(by the way, i cant help but say.. i think that the make up artists you speak of have some set of balls making you have a minimum amount of girls Theyre not doing you a favor... theyre doing their job,, and getting paid pretty freakin' well for an hour's worth of work.. they need to get over themselves... JMO though )

would maybe your mom want to get hers done? That's what I'm doing...I have 3 bm & only 1 wants to use my girl - so it's only 3 of us. I'm using a woman who works for Estee Lauder that my MOH hooked me up with. My MOH works for Estee as well.

Oksana is doing my makeup. There's a possiblity that maybe one of the girls will use her, but I told her it might just be me. She was fine with that.

its up to my girls. i would like them to have it done...it will look nice for pictures. i know its an added expense. if they're not going to get it done, they said they'll do the make up themselves

You can make an appointment at one of the make-up counters in Macy's. If you choose MAC, they dont charge you, all you have to do is purchase $50.00 worth of the make they use. My sister-in-law did this for her wedding. They used false lashes and made her make-up look fantastic. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding and they did a great job on mine as well. I plan on doing this for my wedding. Just wear a button down shirt. It will save you a lot of money and you get to buy all the make up for touch ups later on in the day.
