For Those who Have Had Bloodwork.....

I have to go for bloodwork this week to see if Im pregnant. I did my first round of IUI.
Just wondering did anyone take a HPT that morning before you went, or did you wait till they called you to tell you the results.
I think I will die just waiting around.

My friend went for an IUI 2 weeks ago. Had her first bloodwork testing her progesterone, last Tuesday. She took a HPT last Thursday and it came back negative, took another HPT yesterday morning and it came back positive!!! She goes this Tuesday the 22nd for her pregnancy bloodwork.

I know I could not wait and I tested the day before AF was due. Once I got my positive then I called my RE for my bloodtest.

My first cycle of IUI,
I tested twice at home and got negatives,
then went to Dr. they tested got negative result then took blood and I called later and got a negative results,
YUCK, just too many negatives,

so my 2nd cycle, I opted not to test at HOME,
it was the LONGEST DAY OF MY LIFE,
my appointment with my Dr. was not until like 4:30 pm - bc of work,
but I held strong,
and got the BEST NEWS of my life that day,
I nice big Positive.

my test is scheduled for 4/8 however there is no way I can hold out until then..LOL..so I will be doing an HPT on 4/5..which is 10 days past my transfer..

lots of luck to all and much baby dust!!!
