Just a warning, don't invite more people than: a. your room can hold or b. you can afford. B/c there is always a chance everyone could come!
We invited less than 200 (152) and 127 guests came, that is only 25 people not coming!

We invited 245 and 167 came. Our minimum was 175. We were nervous that we weren't going to make it so we invited a bunch of people last minute and they came!
Otherwise we would have been at 155.

We invited 230 and 170ish are coming. But don't go by me...about 130 of those were from FILs, who literally dug up every person they knew. They've only got 65 ppl coming.
Point is, a 50% decline rate doesn't seem that common. I bet if you invite 220 you'll be way above your minimum rather than me, who just barely met hers.
