For those who live with FH

Does your FH help out with House duties???
Washing dishes, doing laundry, making the bed....not just yard stuff or taking out the garbage....My darling said he's one of a kind but I told him there are other men out there that help out besides him so he said go ahead and make a poll on LI weddings and see!!! loll He thinks he's a rare breed you know..

I'm too busy right now to take care of the apartment all by myself. FH helps cook some nights, helps out 50% with all the pets, cleans, and does the laundry. He def. helps a lot... I couldn't have it any other way.

FH helps out with everything. I'm all about 50/50 Even though i sometimes have to remind FH what he should be doing

My FH isn't allowed near the laundry after all my white towels are now mysteriously pink! But he cooks, does dishes , puts out the garbage and makes an effort to clean... he's just not good at it! His idea of cleaning the house is putting everything in the closet or under the bed!

he's a vaccuum-aholic... and i do make him take out the garbage...

other then that i do the rest.. dishes, laundry etc

I'm pretty lucky. He does pretty much everything I ask him to. I told him it has to be 50/50.

We're not living together officially yet. Eventhough I been there for the last 6 months...shhhhh don't tell my parents or my in laws... My FH is wonderful with completing chores independently. He has OCD when it comes to cleaning up his apartment. He even uses a toothpick when cleaning his jeep!!!! I kid you not. In his words 'I use it for the snug areas that are a bi%^h to clean.' Only thing he dose not enjoy is foodshopping. That's where I willingly come in. He's learning to cook but he's better at baking which I am not.

We split the housework. I cook and clean the house. He does the dishes and the laundry. He mows the lawn but I work the garden. I had to teach him how to do the laundry but I wrote out instructions and they are posted at the washer. So far so good no white loads turned pink

uggh this is a subject i absolutely hate. FH doesnt do anything!! he'll do the dishes because he knows i hate doing them, but thats it. if i clean, when he gets home he'll just throw his clothes on the floor it drives me nuts. and god forbid he did the laundry! :bang

mine pitches in, but i do the majority of housework. i think its really because i have much higher standards of what 'clean' really is. he'll think things are clean when i think its still a mess!

He is actually helps alot...his jobs are garbage, laundry and he cooks dinner at least once a week and straightens up...I love my FH

im a control freak so hes not llowed to do any chores.....i feel like they are not done right if i dont do them so hes only allowed to take out the trash and wash clothes i do the rest.....my daughter and i hold it down together!!

I voted NO way Jose. I'm constantly taking out the garbage, vaccuming, making the bed etc. Unless I get on his @ss, he'll do it. Don't get me wrong, he helps alot ( he pays for the roof over our head ), so I really shouldn't be complaining
