For those who need to book your RH

Hi girls:

I just have to give your girls a tip from an 08 bride regarding your RH. I see soooo many posts in 08 of girls who are not making their minimum guarantee. Granted I know that some places require a minimum guarantee to hold a certain room and that is one story BUT for those who dont aim low!!

You are responsible to pay for those you guarantee.
We guaranteed 125 and knew we were inviting 150-160. so if we have 30 people who dont come we make our minimum. Hopefully if you dont make your minimum you can add your vendors in to try and make up the difference and even still, if you still dont make it they will give you extras.

More or less be careful when you give a min guarantee!!! Always aim less when you can!!!!

My RH required that 130 ppl be the minimum, but he was nice enough to let me book the room with 125.

That's a very good tip. It makes the rsvp stress way worse when you are facing being under.

i just cancelled my RH since i was stressing the min.. i found myself adding people to the list who i didnt really want there or could careless if they came and i still didnt go over the min to make sure if the % said no i was still good..

Actually yeah, I booked with the vip country club, and since I booked so early, I have a year inbetween each payment to come up with the money, which is not all that bad, if you are on a tight budget at the time.

Its in New Rochelle in New York, on Davenport Ave. Its by places like the Surf Club and Beckwith Pointe. Its a nice place, vip was the only RH I went to see. Once I saw it, I had to have it.
