For those who think that sending registry cards w/your invites was a no no get a load of
the invitaion we just recvd for a March wedding .. and it had 3 registry cards included .. umm did she read any etiquette books at all...

I had a friend who included registry cards in her engagement party invites. I thought that was a little weird.

For a Bridal Shower it is 100% expected and fine, don't worry about that.

yes that's tacky. A relative of mine actually had written on the wedding invite about monetary gifts preferred or something like that. Needless to say, we did not attend. It was a DW in FL too.

I put where I was registered for our eparty and they will go in my bridal shower invites as well DEFINITELY not the wedding invites though..no gifts, $$

I just got an invite to a wedding as well which included registry cards. I thought it might be a regional thing however since they are from AZ?

I told my mom and sister to put the registry stuff in my bridal shower invites, but NO WAY will they be in my wedding invites, that's just TACK-Y!! Plus we want $$$ anyways
