For those who took engagement pics ...

Did you get your hair and makeup done or did you do it on your own?

Trying to decide what to do!

My engagement pics are in two weeks and I'm gonna do my own but I'm and going to the beach and just want to capture us as we are. I was think of getting it done because the make up/hair packages I purchased have extra trials I could have used but I decided against it

i had my makeup trial that day. I got my hair blown out too, but that was a huuuge waste since the wind was going crazy. My hair ended up looking like a rats nest.

Jacqueline Nicole is my makeup artist. She did my sisters wedding and I knew I had to have her. She's amazinggggg.

YES and YEs....

Got my makeup done at MAC it was free but you had to purchase $50 in stuff, which was no problem since i needed makeup

My sister is a hairdresser s she did my hair too!!

Its up to you....not everyone does! I kind of wished I didnt get my makeup done bc I looked TOO done up. I would have rathered been real! If u know what i mean

I got my hair and make-up done for my e-pics and used that as my trial.

i went to The Make-Up Studio in Babylon Village. LOVED how everything came out. Some pics in album.

She is doing mine as well. In fact she did my make-up for my Epics. Pics are in my album. She did a great job

It all depends on where you're shooting and the look your going for.

We went to Central Park. I did my own hair and MU. My hair is strait and I can do my own MU pretty good.

Personally, the most I would do is get a blow-out if you need it and if you want to get your MU done
go to MAC and have them do a natural look. MAC MU when done at the store is 'free' - they just encourage you to buy what you would like. Preferably around $50 in products. I've bought anywhere from $25 to $75 in products.

I had my cousin do both for me. Oh e-pics we very laid back so I didn't feel like spending the money on getting everything professionally done. My cousin did a good job though.
