is aruba as cheap as cancun for going out to bars at night? in cancun we spent less than $100 a night (we drink a lot) and a short/cheap bus ride every night...& our hotel would have bracelets for a different bar evry night.....just curious if aruba is like that...

not sure.. but if you like to drink..all inclusive is the way to go!
I'll be in aruba this summer.. so i wont know till i get there

We went to Aruba for our HM and we thought that it was very reasonable. I don't know if it is as cheap, but we did not think it was too expensive. They also have all inclusives, but we wanted to go to the restaurants outside of our hotel because they were so good, so we did not do the all inclusive.

I've been to both - I think Aruba's more expensive. I don't remember exactly what a night of drinking cost, but dinners out were at NYC prices (because so much is imported) and Cancun's definitely not at NYC prices. That being said, rum is abundant in the Caribbean so I'm sure drinks are not quite NYC but I still think they're probably cheaper in Cancun. You could do all inclusive in Aruba, but the restaurants are so great, I wouldn't recommend it. Good luck!

I have been to both, but I went to Cancun on spring break and Aruba with my cousin...so they were different experiences. However, if I remember correctly, Cancun had a alot of all you can drink deals. Aruba is all around expensive. But, I liked Aruba a lot better, so I guess it is a toss up!

We stayed just outside Cancun (20 minutes) @ Secrets Excellence...AMAZING!! We actually went back a year later for a destinatio wedding and people are still raving about it

ditto. Cancun is the cheapest place to drink and has more inexpensive resturants. But I think Aruba is more of a honeymoon spot. JMO
