For those with dogs, are you planning on incorporating them in the festivities?

I would love for my dog to be a part of this, of course it would have to be outdoors. is anyone else planning on doing this? that is why i like this picture.

Unfortunately our dog will not be part of the day. She'll be staying at doggy hotel. She's just way too BIG and can be really intimidating to those she is unfamiliar with.

I was at a wedding where the couples dog was the ring bearer..he carried the rings tied around his neck, another family member walked him down the aisle. Their ceremony was outside, so they were allowed to do it. It was so cute. The string quartet played the Scooby Doo theme as he was coming down the aisle!

The Scooby Doo theme... that is too cute!

I would love my Molly Malone (90 lbs Golden) to be in it but I just don't think it's possible. I'd also have to takee her back at some point and someone would have to miss the reception. She doesn't live with me now because FH's cat is nerotic... imagine when we have kids if she can't get along with Molly.

All three of our dogs were part of our ceremony ... my mom walked Hershey (my dog) down the aisle, Bailey (his dog) was already up front with the Best Man and DH's nephew walked Max (our dog) down the aisle ...

I'm envious of you people with well-behaved dogs! My little Dachshund is way too hyper. She'd be running circles around everybody and FH's dog would be biting my dress. I would love to have them as part of the day, but it would be nearly impossible.
