I would love for my dog to be a part of this, of course it would have to be outdoors. is anyone else planning on doing this? that is why i like this picture.

I wish I could but Murphy is way too hyper. I keep imagining him jumping on the Duet guys and breaking their camera, then white hairs all over the men's tuxes, biting my dress, etc. BTW, he is a Jack Russell.

I went to a wedding at Vineyard caterers in June and they had their dog as part of the BP! An usher walked him down the aisle. He posed for pics with the couple! He stayed in the cocktail area the whole night. He was so well behaved and cute (a black lab)!
So it definitely can be done!

My mom made my dog a sash for her neck out of the same material the Bridesmaids wore and I posed for pictures with her before I left the house. One of the pics we took together:

I had to laugh when I read your post - I, too, have a Jack and I know what you mean. But they are just too cute when they snuggle and cuddle with you - I put a pic in with my post - I couldn't help it!

I would have loved to, but my dog is a nut! If I had gotten ready at home, instead of in Long Island, than i would have taken pictures with her. But there was no way to get her out to LI and then back to White Plains, and it's not like I could have left her in the hotel room.

I wish we could, but we have a Rottie who thinks he's a 10 pound lap dog...who likes to sit on my lap!

I'm definitely going to take pics with my dogs. I like the idea of putting a sash around their neck in the same color as the BM dresses. I'm definitely going to do that!

I was at a wedding where the couples dog was the ring bearer..he carried the rings tied around his neck, another family member walked him down the aisle. Their ceremony was outside, so they were allowed to do it. It was so cute. The string quartet played the Scooby Doo theme as he was coming down the aisle!

although i love my dog, she is a little wild. she is still a baby, so she hasn't quite calmed down yet. i am afraid that she will jump on my dress and ruin it! she will be going on vacation for the day! i hope that doesn't sound cruel! i just don't want her to have to get locked in a room for the day. she can go hang out with her doggie friends!

Nope, Maddie is a mutt but she must have Wheaton in her because she looks alot like a Wheaton only with a long shaggy tale. My sister has a Wheaton, I love them so much.

Oh my g-d!!! Same fears about my Brownie..she is a chocolate lab spaniel mix, and two years old and insanely hyper...I don't even know what we're going to do with her that day IF I decide to get ready in the house and not a hotel or the actual hall.....I'm thinking my dad take her to the beach and tire her out completely, but I would looove to try to take pics with her..but I can soooo see her pulling on my dress with her razor sharp teeth, and I don't think thats a good look for me...
