I want to do somthing special for him as a surprise but not sure what?

just kidding! i've been trying soooo hard to have a special NYPD garter made...but can't find anyone who makes them.

Right now I am in the process of trying to find his old car that he had wanted to fix up with his dad. Eight years ago, FH's dad died, and they had bought this car they were going to fix up. After his dad passed away, his mom needed the extra $ and it was also a reminder of how he wouldn't get to fix this car with his dad. So he sold it. He has regretted it ever since. He told me recently that he knows who bought it & I asked the name and now I'm going to make them an offer for the car. Hopefully I can get it back for him

I'm buying him a rolex..he's always wanted one and I know he wouldn't buy one for himself..he's been great about ALMOST everything... he's completely clueless!!! he's gonna wet his shorts!!!

That is sooooo sweet! What a GREAT & meaningful gift! I hope you can find it!!!

For me I'd like to get him a Rolex or a motorcycle...we'll see if i can afford either by then! hehe

As for the nypd thing- thats SOOO cute- maybe ask your seamstress if she can make it for you. Try to find a lace or whatever material you want for your garter in that deep navy color and try to find a little nypd patch somewhere.. she'll sew it together in no time..
