For you ladies who have already gotten married..no shows?
So did anyone have guests who RSVP'd yes, but either did not show up at all that day or cancelled with less than a week to go?

yes
the week of, we had 4 people (2 couples) cancel. One had a death in the family. The others... I forget but it was a good reason
We also had 3 people that were no shows.

We had one couple not show. 3 people at the last minute couldn't come and 2 people who weren't invited show up!!! I guess we lucked out with the uninvited because the other couple didn't show. It can be very nerve racking

I dont know what I'll do if uninvited guests showed up! I will probably catch a fit...i think it's the rudest thing ever.

I had 2 people call me 3 days before that they weren't coming and 1 called the day of, but she was really sick and her husband still came.
I had ONE uninvited guest show up. She found out about the wedding, bought a freakin plane ticket-- she lives in Florida-- showed up on another family member's doorstep the day of the wedding and insisted that they take her with them
And she didn't give us a gift

we almost had some no shows. Our wedding was while everyone was sick or getting sick, but luckily almost everyone made it. My 2 grnadpas couldnt come though- one couldn't travel at the last minute and the other traveled here and ended up sick the day of. But it wasn't their fault! I did have a friend say he was comming but I knew he wouldnt so I didn't count him anyway!

we had two ppl cancel due to a fam. emergency the day before, and one person told us that he wouldn't know if he could make it until the day of the wedding (can you believe it! we didn't count him in our tables, which was good bc he didn't end up coming), but everyone else showed up on the day.

yes. the week of the wedding 4 couples called to say they couldn't make it.
the day of the wedding at least 4 other couples didn't show up either.

i think one couple said they couldnt make it about a week before, and then one person had an emergency the night before so he didnt come

oh and one person invited herself. i invited a friend from college with out a date, but he brought one anyway.......so yeah, one extra person was there

Yep, we had 3 guests (total of 6) that didnt show, each one had a valid family emergency

As a matter of fact the answer is yes.. we had three that didn't come- two that let us know a few days before (I wanted to kill them!!) and one that ironically got into a car accident on the way to Russo's that day.. that just stunk

We had 2 couples cancel w/in 3 days before the wedding. One of them cancelled the morning of.
Also, one of my cousins decided to just show up with a random girlfriend when he only RSVPd for one.
Ya just roll with the punches.....

i think its so rude of people to just not show up the day of the weddng! im soooo worried bout this people can be such flakes... no excuse and no phone call ugh it worries me when your talking over $100 a person

Yes and Yes.
A week before the wedding (actually, 4 days) 2 guests cancelled, but with a good reason. On the day of the wedding, 3 people didn't show up. One had a bull$hit excuse, and the other 2 were legitimate.

yep three couples (so six total) said yes and didn't show and i had one last minute couple cancel about a week before.
