plasma tvs? i'm trying to decide if i need them? i know it depends on your personal taste- but i dont know

No, we didn't. FH and I went to a wedding where they had them. It was a nice touch, but totally not necessary.

we think they look cool, but they aren't necessarily a necessity for us.

we did, and did a photo montage of DH and I...not the photos all night long of the wedding. It was a really nice touch that everyone keeps talking about. It's definitely personal preference...if you have the extra money and it's something you want to do...go for it!

We didn't have it, we didn't want to do the baby pics montage and didn't see the need for it.

My cousin had it at her wedding and the photo montage was a nice touch as well as pics from their ceremony. But the rest of the time with like 'screensaver stuff' (if that makes sense) going it was just kind of annoying IMO.

my brother had it for his wedding, and they did the photo's before their entrance and that was great!!! They also had photo's on the tv running from their Church and the CH while people were eating. While people were up and dancing they just had a photo of them (kind of like a screen saver but the picture was not changing, it was just that one picture). That was great and I like that they did it that way because we went to a friend's wedding once where they were running pictures constantly, and while people were supposed to be dancing they were just watching the tv's on the dance floor and not dancing. People were just standing in place and watching the tv's. It was kind of weird. But I like the way by brother did it. They just ran the pictures while people were sitting and eating.

We did not add them to our package with the dj because we had only a 5 month engagement and we did not want (or have the money) to spend on extras that were not necessary.

I included it in my package but it is not necessary unless you really want it and are interested in it.

I've seen it where they did the growing up pictures before the B&G entance. Then did shots of people dancing and showed those while people were dancing. I thought this would have been done by a photographer though.

I'm looking at DJ's at the moment and will NOT be including this. One reason is that we want more of a party atmosphere where people are having fun and not focused on a screen. The other reason would be budget. Even if we preferred it, we can't afford it.

If you really like it, then go for it. Otherwise, I don't think it's something that will be missed.

If you dont mind me asking How much would something like that cost? The plasma TV's? I was thinking of doing that.... I went to a wedding that had it and thought it was a nice touch to the night.

the cost of it depends on your dj- i'm just starting to look at djs at the moment so i dont know the prices- it can be from $750 + sorry i know that prob didnt help!! yeah i also want more of a party atmosphere so thats also another reason why i am prob not going to use it

We did. We have 1 montage in the beginning of the night. The rest of the night, the DJ has a video camers that will prject people dancing up on the plasma screen so we can watch ourselves having fun!

I think its worth the money (for us at least). We got a great deal -- they threw it in for us.
