FOR YOUR MIL...

For those of you that have a good relationship with your FMIL..(I hope alot of you !

)... Here's a cute poem I came across a while back, when I was planning my wedding.. I just saw it as I'm cleaning out some files on my pc..)

Use it for a card, or type it and frame it in a cute frame...or any other ideas you come up with..
I think its a precious poem.. I dont know the author or where I got it from..

Here goes...

You are the mother I received the day I wed your son
And I just want to thank you, Mom
For the things that you have done
You've given me a gracious man with whom I share my life
You are his lovely mother
And I his lucky wife
You used to pat his little head and now I hold his hand

That's so nice. Too bad I won't be using it. Let's just say my FMIL doesn't really fit the bill, she's very selfish, non-supportive, egotistical and neurotic, just to name a few of her good points!!...

I LOVE it. I will definitely use it. I don't have the best relationship w/ my FMIL, but we have a good one, and I know she means well, and will love the poem, too.
