my sisters will be giving me the showere so yes I will give them the list of who I'd like there. The only reason is some of FH friends girlfriends/wives who are invited are not close to me so I would not want to make them feel uncomfortable because they don't know anyone.

I gave my MOH a list of those I wanted invited with their address. She didn't tell me who RSVP to come, but I knew who was invited.
I gave my list to my mom and MOH. I know showers are supposed to be a surprise, but I still want to make sure my favorite females will be there.
I gave my mom a printed list with addresses with a check list and all!
I was asked by my sister (MOH) for a list of those I wanted to invite.

not only did i give a list.....i created a microsoft excel spreadsheet with names, addresses, e-mail address, a/b list designations, and a column for whether they RSPV'd yes or no for my MOH!![]()

my MOH doesn't know all my friends that i would want there, and therefore i think it's very typical to have a list. i'm not sure why your MOH was upset---i mean what happens if she invites ppl you would NEVEr want there or forgets others?
I plan on giving my mom and MatOH the list and letting them take it from there

did oyu make a list of who you wanted there and then gave it to your BP or om to handle your surprise shower. or did someone else handle this?
I only ask because I was finishing up finalizing my list and need spelling of two names and asked FSIL(who is a BM) and she went into shock asknig me why I'm doing a list and know who is coming.![]()
I gave a list to my MOH (sister) and mother. I also gave them our friends names and addresses. I did tell them if they wanted to keep the shower small then they can cut out friends. So I gave them the say in who to invite, but I knew they would not know our friends names and addresses if I did not give it to them. They ultimately had the say in who to invite, but I did tell them with the friends it was either all or none. They could not pick from the list of friends who they feel should be invited because that would not be fair to the rest of them. I was VERY happy to see they included everyone and they were all there at my shower!
