Forgetting Anniversary
On Sun. It will be 4 years that my FH and I have been together, living together for over a year. He still has not mentioned anything about it.
He hasn't even brought it up. I think he doesn't care. Are most guys good about anniversarys

Re: Forgetting Anniversary
I'd definitely hint around or mention it in passing, how you cannot believe it. If you don't, don't be disappointed if he forgets. Guys generally don't make this a top priority.

Re: Forgetting Anniversary
Def mention something. Don't let it be a
anniversary. I'm a spaz with dates too. Don't take it personally. And hey, maybe he does remember ...

Re: Forgetting Anniversary
Don't take it personally... I sort of forgot my three year anniversary this year. With the wedding coming up and everything focusing on that date, this one sort of slipped my mind. I owed FH BIG after that

Re: Forgetting Anniversary
Maybe he's planning a surprise and he wants you to think he forgot so it's a big surprise.if he did forget, it's probably because he's got his mind occupied with another important date - your wedding!

Everytime i've considered this theory, i've been let down
and then i get even Madder at FH b/c i had this whole elaborate surprise planned out in my head... and, essentially, he really DID forget

Re: Forgetting Anniversary
Waiting to see if you will be surprised sounds more like setting your FH up to fail. Now that you are engaged, your dating anniversary likely seems less significant. If it is important to you, say something. You will be setting yourself up for a very happy marriage if you always make your expectations clear to your hubby! You say he hasn't brought up or mentioned the anniversary -- have you?
