Formal Engagement Parties favor question: Update

Ok we've booked the Wedding @ Brindisi so now we're thinking of having our engagement party :

Very Fun, Casual, Carefree, intimate celebration of Family & close friends.

We're thinking (again) of having it in my aunts backyard hiring a caterer for a bbq, w/ the traditional BBQ salads etc..

For favors, I'm thinking of:

Home made s'more pops on short lollipop sticks wrapped in celephane , places in a box w/our photo Save the dates on top. The box w/ be tied closed w/ a ribbon in a coordnaiting color.

What do you think?

Congratulations on your Engagement!

Your idea is very good. I just had my engagement party this past November and it was casual and I had it catered.

If you decide to use a fruit for a dessert, go onto www.ediblearrangements.com for fruit. Such a great hit at my party and so nicely decorated.

The favor is a great thought too!!!

hello.. its chrissy and Vinny.. but that's ok... I found them at wrapwithus.com they are located in syosset and they have a bunch of favors there. I just thought they were perfect for engagement favors!
