Former 'Family Ties' Actor Faces Domestic Violence Charge
A former member of the 'Family Ties' cast is expected to be formally charged next week in a domestic violence case in Boulder.
The Daily Camera newspaper reported that 25-year-old Brian Bonsall allegedly poured an alcoholic drink on his girlfriend's face while she was sleeping, then threw her on the bed and put her in a choke hold as she attempted to leave.
Bonsall told police that the woman approached him with a steak knife and cut his face and arm. He claimed that he threw her down in self defense.
