formula for a happy marriage

I just saw this on AOL- They must be kiding me!

1. The husband should be five years older than his bride.
I am older than FH by 1 1/2 years

2. The couple should share the same heritage.
Ok that we are

3. A wife should be at least 27 percent smarter than her husband.
How am I supposed to know this???

4. The wife should hold a degree; the husband should not.
Neither one of us do

5. Neither should be divorced.
I am

Seems like my marriage is doomed!

1. FH is only 3 years older than me

2. He's Christian, I'm Jewish

3. FH could probably legitimately be in MENSA...when I do math I have to count on my fingers.

4. We work on this...I have an A.A.S., a B.A. and I'm currently going for my M.S.Ed. FH has no higher education.

5. Technically neither of us is divorced, but FH was engaged previously.

WE'RE DOOOOOOOOOMED!!!!!!!!

soooo every couple that met in college is doomed - same age/ hold degrees/arguably equally smart.

1. The husband should be five years older than his bride.

FH is older than me by about five HOURS

2. The couple should share the same heritage.

nope, i'm a purebread italian, he's irish and german and a smidge italian.

3. A wife should be at least 27 percent smarter than her husband.

FH thinks he's smarter than me but he's not. I'm at least 7000% smarter than him.

4. The wife should hold a degree; the husband should not.

Meh, we both do, but my JD overrides his MA

5. Neither should be divorced.
