Fortunoff and Macy's registries

Do you have to call to make and appt or can you just walk in?

You just walk in and go to the bridal registry desk.

I called ahead to Macy's in Lake Grove because I was coming during the weekend. By making the appointment, you usually get the manager. Another couple was a walk in when we were registering and we noticed that she did not explain everything to the couple that the manager was telling us, so we were happy to have made the appointment!

I walked in to Fortunoffs but I went when they first opened at 10:00 am. on a Saturday, there was no line. When we were done registering the place was packed. So my advise is to go early if its a weekend.
