Is anyone registered at Fortunoff? I heard they are closing/going bankrupt. A family member went there yesterday and they are not accepting the fortunoff credit card anymore. Anyone know anything about this? I'm wondering if I should register somewhere else...

As far as I know, they filed bankruptcy and searching for a buyer. I do not believe that they officially said they were closing yet. There have been multiple posts on these boards in the last week. You can search them for more info.
I am registered there and plan on keeping it there until I officially hear they are closing since I have time.

quite a few girls have posted about this the last few days. Some went to fortunoff and were told by employees they will close soon unless somebody buys them out by thursday i think. Somebody even said they will close feb 17th.

I'm registered there and debating moving things over, although my shower can't be TOO far in the future, and I'm not sure what I want to do, nothing concrete has been said about them closing as of yet and I want to stay with them as long as I can, although if you have time and you're not getting married in the NEAR future, meaning in the next like 4-5 months, you may want to think about registering elsewhere if you haven't registered at all yet for those of us whose weddings are longer than 5 months away and are already registered, it's kind of a hard decision to make, not sure what the wind up is going to be, it's a real wait and see kind of thing, and ultimately the choice is yours.
