Fortunoff ladies...

What do you all plan on doing with your registries there?

I found that BBB has everything they do and people can use 20% off coupons. I removed my stuff from Fortunoff and just have BBB..possibly register at Crate and Barrell too.

Between Macy's and BBB they have everything covered so I'm moving what's on Fortunoff to my BBB registery and creating a Macy's one. The only thing only Fortunoff's had was my bedding and since it on sale anyway my mom was awesome and bought all of it for us last night even though I'm not getting married until November. So I don't have worry about that. At this point I just think the way everything is being handled is unprofessional and I wouldn't be comfortable even if they got back on track.

I was going through all of that last night and there were quite a few things that BBB did not have. They didn't have any of the accessories of the china I picked, so that's annoying. I thought I had a perfect registry set up - 1/2 at BBB and 1/2 at Fortunoff but now I don't know what to do. Even if they don't go out of business for another 6 months or year or whatever, if we stay with them, I bet returns and completion would be a nightmare. I might look into Macy's. Erghh!! We all spent so much time on our registries - so frustrating!

I am getting married in May and my guess is that my shower is in March so I will just leave it as is.

Re: Fortunoff ladies...

I just started doing my registry a couple of weeks ago. I'm not doing anything right now - just waiting it out. As of today, the only people who even know that we started registering are my mom and my sisters....

If Fortunoffs goes out, I'll end up doing Bloomingdales. I started at Fortunoffs and Macys, but now may also add BBB.

Re: Fortunoff ladies...

There are things on Fortunoffs registry that I can't find at Macys or BBB or other stores for that matter. I am moving what I can from my registry to BBB or Macys and I am putting on my Wedding Website Macys instead of Fortunoffs. But I am not going to close my Fortunoff registry yet. I have a little while before my shower (June) so I will wait to see what happens through Feb/March.

Re: Fortunoff ladies...

My shower invites are already out so we had to move everything over to BBB and tell some people what's going on so they can get the word around. We had to pick out a few different things but BBB has pretty much everything Fortunoff has.
