I was there at 10 am this morning. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY FOR ANY RETURNS. Thank G O D I went to day had I had one item to return. I did have a coupon that that were able to use, so that was great. It was so sad there the workers are like almost in tears, one lady worked for them for 26 years. It's so sad.

Just spoke to my sister who went in to get a basket/plate setting gift wrapped-

They basically told her, no more coupons, no exchanges, no refunds, no fortunoff credit cards.
They are still open for business but going to be auctioned off next monday..

My shower is this sunday- i am PRAYING no one bought me a gift card because i will be very ticked off!
They should HONOR gift cards because someone gave them CASH for it!

Must add- THEY REFUSED TO GIFT WRAP! They laid everyone off in the department!!!

I am completely annoyed that they didn't have the courtesy to contact the brides that have an existing/open registry.

Give them a heads up before the shower invitations went out.
I know my shower is this sunday and the majority of my registry is gone- but what about the brides who don't know and ONLY registered there.. SHAME ON THEM!!!

Not only did they not inform the brides who registered, they never informed me that my wedding band was never ordered or even coming in!!!! How do you take all that money from someone and not even have the courtesy to call them and tell them to come in!! I followed up all on my own, got no where with anyone at that store, and finally called a friend who worked there who found out the answer for me. Ugh! I moved my whole registry right away.

I was just there, as of today everything is final sale, no more gift cards, no more amex, no more fortunoff cards or discover, one lady in front of me lost $200 in gift cards and was none too pleased, they said they'll know more after they go to court on 2/23, it's soooooooooooooooo sad................

OMG. This is so sad and scary. It is also making me want to use up all of my store gift cards because who knows which will be next to go under! What scary times!
