fortunoff registry... ???

why is it that half the items on my registry are listed as special order??

All Clad pots??? why?
my artisan kitchen aide mixter???
and so many other things

me too and i cont to get email saying that items are discontinued

i need to get out ther and really figure all of this out

i might have to change registries.. most people want to go into the store and purchase not order it online for a shower

i was having the same problem, and with all of the gossip about them being bought out by lord and taylor, i decided to switch my fortunoff registry over to a macys registry instead

I just deleted mine. I'm sticking with Macy's. They have so much more in store.

I worked at Fortunoff for years and I still have some friends that work there... Until their whole Chapter 11 thing is resolved, they are not ordering any more inventory.

I'm still registered there and I'm going to wait it out to see what happens, but for those of you having your shower soon, I'd think about switching your registry to another store.

I'm keeping my registry. They have the best price for my china and Macy's is the only other place with it. Otherwise, I would have put it on my BBB registry. I only have a few things for special order.

I had to order a gift once from a Fortunoffs registry and it took less than a week for it to come in. So I really don't think it was such a big deal.

I'm getting nervous too! My BS invites are going out this week ((so I hear from MOH)) and i'm just about finalized w/ my registries. I wasn't too concerned b/c I have Fortunoff, Macy's and BBB registries, however, there is alot of really nice stuff on my fortunoff reg. I'm kinda pee-o'd!!
