Fortunoff Registry Question

Fiance and I recently went on to see our registry (invites to bridal shower didnt go out yet) and noticed that the 'Everyday glassware' we picked wasnt on our registry replaced by something else called Butterfly Garden - anyone else have a problem where registry items didnt come up right?

no - we registered there a while ago and haven't had any problems since. did you call the store?

Yes, I scanned my everyday glasses in the store and when I looked online it said I registered for martini glasses, but they were supposed to be flutes.

I had some problems too. We scanned in the coffee service set for our china, but it came up saucers (which came with the set anyway) and we did notnotice it, so someone bought them for us for our e-party. We had to return them for a gift card & since then we check it often.

I had problems too. I registered for a crock pot, but when I checked my register it said it was a record player! :

So far I haven't had any problems with Fortunoff...but on my Bed Bath and Beyond registry I've had things pop on there that I did not register for...that happened to one of my friends too with her BBB registry.

wondering if stores do this intentionally to increase sales thinking that not all brides/grooms will notice and hope that guests buy the items posted

just a thought - i deal with detection of fraud at work, especially in increased sales and though this isnt fraud, it is deceptive.

not saying fortunoff or anywhere else DOES this - so dont jump down my throat for suggesting it

That never happened to me.
Maybe coincidentally they had the same SKU numbers.

thought so too - skus were different - was just weird - quite ugly the cups were too, at least for everyday glassware they were.

to each his own.

No problem with them, but as far a BBB I know that people who bought off my registry and also something that wasn't on my registry when everything is scanned it is added to it...

I have had no problems so far, but my when my friend registered at Fortunoff, she had registered for Kenneth Cole luggage and when one of the pieces was discontinued, they replaced it with a very similar piece of another brand.

Check to see if your glass pattern was discontinued. Call their customer service number - believe it or not, they are very helpful.

Funny you should ask that b/c I just realized that it happened to me with our everyday glasses. I had my shower 2 weeks ago & I just went online to check my registry & it dawned on me that there were some things missing. The only thing I could remember was the glasses. I'm going to have to call them.
