Now that Fortunoff changed their registry site, some of my items are missing!
Many of my items are special order. Why would towels be special order???
Not to mention the fact that my bed set was listed and pictured in white and aqua when I registered for it in ice blue and chocolate brown! It originally appeared the correct color. There wasn't even an option for another color to change it back!!! So, I had to pick a new set!!!!

3/4 of my stuff too was special order!!!!!!!!! i emailed them but still haven't heard back from them, i am starting to worry!

soooooooooo much of my stuff is specail order and discontinued ....its been like that for months! so i just didnt tell anyone about it

It's probably because of them filing for bankruptsy. Can you register at another store for the same items? Macy's perhaps.

If you have or want to regsiter at BBB they will go over to fortunoffs rsgistry ( with your premission) and carry everything over to theirs as long as they carry it. You can go there and ask about it. they did that for mine............

mine too and my shower is in march and alot of things are special order for april...and even things that were already bought and the special order thing didnt show up until after it was bought so im hoping the people bought it in person before and have it, bc im sure they'll be annoyed now if they already ordered it and then tried telling them they have to wait for it

I just switched mine over to BBB this weekend. I was already registered at BBB, so I just searched for each item and added it on. Most of the items they carried. The items that they don't, oh well. Fortunoffs is history!

I know what you mean. I actually went to Fortunoff last week because my mom wanted to by our crystal stemware. A few things on my registry weren't available in the store for purchasing. I checked my registry on the site and 12 items are special order. (3 of them have already been purchased). I know my invites haven't been mailed yet b/c my moh and mom were sneak talking last night about addresses. ( )
I asked one of the managers about the store's situation and she said L&T taking over is the best thing that could have happened to them. My sil(moh) said no....the best thing would be if BB&B took over!
So very true!
I actually moved some more things over to BB&B b/c they weren't available at Fortunoff

I don't really have time. I believe my invites are going out this week or already went out. My shower is in the beginning of April. This weekend I close on my house, I have a 30th birthday party Saturday and a baby shower and a christening on Sunday! I don't know what to do!!!

Its the craziest thing! I had FH call me to tell me guests were trying to shop and were so inconvenienced by the special order madness or out of stock in the store! I called and the visited the store in the past 5 days and am still awaiting to hear what the hell is going on! I am definitely calling again tomorrow and demanding someone give me a straight forward answer as to what's going on! I can't switch my registry when the invites went out and the shower is probably weeks away!

ugh... I can't believe some of the stories I am hearing lately about Fortunoffs! They usually have a very reliable reputation!

Yea I really have to update my registry because a lot are special order. I took some stuff off and switched over to Bloomingdales.

Tons of my stuff is on special order too......I was there on Saturday though and found out something VERY interesting....they now DELETE the item from our registry once purchased. They said that people were complaining that since it was still up on their registry in the past, after someone bought it, their guests were going to the store and buying another one. To end that dilemma, they decided to erase what's purchased. If you want to see what was bought, click 'View registry with purchased items'....you SHOULD be able to find your other items there. HTH
