Fortunoffs????????????????

Did anyone else hear rumors that it is reopening this summer?

I heard that they are reopening their warehouse this summer and the stores soon after.

Just wondering because I will wait to register until they reopen.

my father used to work there and still chats with the fortunoff family
and one of my BMs mother also worked for them (until about a year ago, my father left 15 years ago)

the last THEY heard was that they were only keeping the home and garden outlets open (which still are) AND that westbury will be strictly home and garden.

but that was a while back that they heard that (from two separate sources)

and I know that warehouse B is closed and will never open again (my father worked there as manager) its since been sold and warehouse A was too small and is on the same lot as B and from what I understand is that the lot was sold and fortunoff rented the space to keep A open. but obv they lost that when they 'closed'

(see now if Alan was still alive fortunoff would still be open and I'd have an amazing job )

i used to work for Fortunoff, it was a great place to work i miss it sooo much. But you can now get fortunoff Jewlery from ICE.COM i believe that the outdoor stores will reopen in feb , i am not sure where. I hope they become Christmas stores in december , it was my first year in my own appartment and there was no fortunoff xmass store to go to.
