yea I heard that lord and taylor is looking to take over all the fortunoff stores. I'm not too nervous about it though and I am registered there

That's what I'm thinking. Kind of like when Macy's bought all the A&S and Stern's stores but they're pretty much the same as they were before.

yes but theyve also filed for bankruptcy a couple of times in the past. WHen you file for chapter 11 you can file to help pay your stuff and not get harassed by creditors this way. Its a way to figure out how to get out of the problem

Thank god. I thought so. Only cause if you registered at Fortunoffs and ppl start buying from there and they get taken over they cant just wash out/get rid of your registry.
