Foudn out when my shower is (UPDATE AT BOTTOM)

At christmas dinner FMIL says
and so blah blah blah asked me when your shower was..but i hadnt planned on inviting her..but i just didnt know what to say, so i said it was Feb 11th and yada yada yada...

i niuged FH and excused myself, went to the bath roomand i was HYSTERICAL CRYING.

i am so upset.

Anyone else feel like..

i was dreaming about this since a was a little girl and nothing is working out just like i pictures it..and while i realize that things dont have to happen like my 7 yr old dreams, im just occasionally disappointed. i really REALLY REALLY wanted to be surprised and she RUINED IT

im so sad

it might be a fake date to throw you off..
My future in laws did it to me.. and I too was very upset.. but turned out they were faking me out..

no...b/c FH then said...MOM...STOP TALKING!
and she was like...oh...didnt know you about all the plans?

she was confused b/c i had helped the girls get the guest list together (trying to make it easier for the BP) and she thought i knew...but she had been told it was a surprise...sometimes she just DOESNT LISTEN!

She could have been throwing you off.....we all have seen that done before!!

If it's not I'm sorry, I know how that bites. Every female in my family (including the in laws) have had their bridal shower surprise ruined by another family member.

I am at the point where I told my cousin she may as well tell me when it is because someone will surely goof up and tell me, but she insists on keeping it a surprise...we'll see what happens.

try not to think about it and it will be here before you know it..
Once you are there you will be full of emotions anyway..

I am sooo sorry!! try to act surprise don't ruin it for your bridal party they worked hard for this. Again sorry!!

Hey you don't know where it is or how they are getting you there. There is still a surprise.

Aww, I'm sorry! I would be upset too, I really want to be surprised. Maybe it really is to throw you off though, your FH could be in on it too.

Lynn,

Even though you know when it is, you'll still be surprised to see all those people there for you! I figured out it was my shower when I was driving there and I was so taken aback by the decorations and all of the people waiting to greet me.

So sorry sweetie that FMIL ruined it for you!
