Found out which children have been adopted..many of them have been..

I found out this afternoon, that many of the children who I had a strong interest in have already been adopted. I am thrilled they have found homes. BUT, one of my absolute favorites is a 7 year old boy, he is still available!!! I cant do anything until my homestudy is complete, which should be another month atleast...but then I can place a 'hold' on him, can start sending him gifts and pictures of us, etc until the paperwork is finalized. So although I want him to find a home, I want it to be MY home..so Im praying he will still be available when our homestudy is done. If he is not, then I know God has another plan, another child for us..I just wish I didnt fall in love with every child I see. This is a heart breaking process. Oh well, our house visit is tomorrow, so hopefully our social worker will find our place a safe environment for a child..hell..Ive been cleaning for days..Ive never seen my place so clean! heheheheh
So those of you who have been so supportive of this..THANK YOU..please keep up your good thoughts and well wishes and prayers, in abouta month, I will know exactly who my child will be!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much! Im trying to be positive and know that if he is adopted by another family, then he is just not meant to be..but I want him to be meant to be..does that make sense?
well thanks again..keep those fingers crossed!!! If he isnt available, we may just adopt a sibling set or an infant, not sure yet. Its this waiting thats going to kill me!

Best of luck to you both - I have to admit everytime I read one of your posts now - I get a little teary eyed. You just seem like such a nice person - you totally have your heart in the right place and it shines through with every word of yours I read.
I hope that little boy is still available for you - but you said it yourself - if he isn't than obviously God has another plan for you!

Thank you EVERYONE!!! The homestudy went great!!! Our social worker is very caring and very reassuring, she asked alot of questions and saw that I have done my research and was pleased with everything..so now its just a waiting game, She needs to meet Dex (DH) and thats it, our fingerprints are what takes so long, on average 6 weeks, but we had them done a week ago..so I am hoping that by the New Year or a few weeks after, it will be complete and then we choose our child. I cant wait. When I told the social worker about this little boy, I said Im wondering why he hasnt been adopted yet and she said maybe he is waiting for YOU, something about that made me start crying, my sister said the same thing..she said 'isn't it neat that there is a soul so far way, in Africa.. waiting for you'...Im like an emotional mess..i cry at the drop of a hat. But my mom and sisters are planning a shower for me..I didnt know that happened with adoption, especially with an older child...but they said I would register for games, books, a bike, roller blades, clothes, etc. I am so excited. I wish I could get this child out of my mind..I should throw the video away because I watch it too much. Im becoming obsessed and that cant be good. Im going to throw myself into learning Amharic (the Ethiopian language) and hope and pray that these next 5-6 weeks go by FASTTTTTTT. I cant thank you guys enough for your support through this. I need to post, its like therapy for me, and although Im not really conceiving..I feel good posting here..so thank you for even listening!

YEA!!! Thank you!!! I hope he is waiting for me!!! I just spoke with our social worker and she said that as soon as our report is written, even if we are still waiting for our fingerprint results, some agencies will accept that as complete, so we may be able to place a hold on him sooner. I'm going to pray pray pray!!!!!
