I found out this afternoon, that many of the children who I had a strong interest in have already been adopted. I am thrilled they have found homes. BUT, one of my absolute favorites is a 7 year old boy, he is still available!!! I cant do anything until my homestudy is complete, which should be another month atleast...but then I can place a 'hold' on him, can start sending him gifts and pictures of us, etc until the paperwork is finalized. So although I want him to find a home, I want it to be MY home..so Im praying he will still be available when our homestudy is done. If he is not, then I know God has another plan, another child for us..I just wish I didnt fall in love with every child I see. This is a heart breaking process. Oh well, our house visit is tomorrow, so hopefully our social worker will find our place a safe environment for a child..hell..Ive been cleaning for days..Ive never seen my place so clean! heheheheh
So those of you who have been so supportive of this..THANK YOU..please keep up your good thoughts and well wishes and prayers, in abouta month, I will know exactly who my child will be!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you!!!!! Our social worker is amazing, she knows once the syudy is complete, we can plae our hold on my little boy..so she is working hard to get everything done ASAP, we will meet with her again on Dec 14th and then those reuirements are filled..so if I find out for the New Year that we can adopt this little boy..I will be the happiest person. Dex is getting attached to him as well. I know we shouldnt be doing this, because if he gets adopted, it will be hard, but we cant help it. We talk about all of the things we'll take him to do, hopefully we can make a yankee fan out of him! hehehehhe we are considering adopting one of his friends at the orphanage, so they can start first grade together and have that bond. I wish I wasnt so hooked on him. If you guys saw his face and heard his voice..youd fall in love too. His smile is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I wish iw asnt obsessed, each day feels like an eternity!

Your posts are so wonderful to read - you can really tell that you'll be a wonderful mom to this little boy or any other child that may be with you.

this is YOUR first!!!!!

OMG Alicia - your posts make me so teary and excited for you and Dex! Hopefully you guys will have a wonderful holiday present this year!!!
I TOTALLY got the chills when you said that the social worker said that maybe he is waiting for you!!!
