Fountainhead Brides... You have NOTHING to worry about!
It was my first time there and the food was delicious! Cocktail hour was wonderful... lots of passed appetizers- the bracciole and the polenta were my favorite besides the raw clams and oysters! They had passed sushi- lamb chops (Dh was disappointed that they didnt get to him, but they looked so good) They had so much to choose from! Cocktail Hour is always my favorite part and this one was one of the best we have been to...
The martini bar was a nice touch! The chocolate martinis were yummy!
They room was gorgeous! Very spacious! Pretty room! Their cake was pretty, I dont know if it was one provided by the hall or not... I didnt taste it though..
Their band- Daybreak's Night was excellent! People were dancing all night long! We had looked at them too and they were our 2nd choice! They were really, very good!
The Viennesse Hour was so great! 3 chocolate fountains, chocolate covered strawberries, every kind of pastry and dessert you can think of...zeppoles...
Service was very good, our waitress was always around, getting us drinks without asking us-
Only thing- dh and I asked that our filet be cooked medium rather than medium rare-they way they said they make it- and they said okay, but when it came it was not medium ... I was fine with it, but DH likes his less rare... it was fine...
The 'sides' were augratin potatoes and a spinach quiche/casserole thing and veggies- it was different and good!

The bride and groom were so happy the entire night! I said this to someone earlier, but their laughter and smiles were contagious!

I was at the same wedding and I agree with everything you said! The place was beautiful. The cocktail hour was fantastic. I had the margarita martini from the martini bar and loved it. Everything I ate was very good. There were many hor's devours(sp?) being passed around. I really liked the coconut chicken. I ate 2 plates of food and didn't really have room for the main course.
I ordered the prime rib as well and requested medium but my came out medium rare which was too pink for me, but I already ate enough at the cocktail hour. The salmon dish looked yummy. The sides were very good!
The Viennese Hour was amazing! The chocolate covered strawberries were out of this world! I also had creme brulee' and many pastries. My husband loved the cinnamon rolls. He also liked the wedding cake. I didn't get to the chocolate fountains because I was stuffed. As we were leaving to get our car we were even offered an Italian ice.
The service was very good so you should not be worried. You made a great choice Fountainhead brides! Best of Luck!
