four weddings!

I love watching the show but would NEVER sign up for it. FH actually suggested it (shocked the heck outta me), but as I told him, we have so many personal touches (a lot of Batman stuff included) that people that don't know us wouldn't understand. I feel like when brides have stuff like that, the judging brides aren't always so nice/understanding about it and score them lower lol. Plus, I wouldn't want to go to a wedding where I couldn't bring FH :)

I agree. There have been some very judgmental moments on there. We definitely have to remember that every couple is different and may have personalized their wedding to what makes them unique and happy.

FH husband said no! BOOO the cut off is may 2013. I guess I will wait and see if they extend it to the end of the yr and apply with out telling him

My best friend won Four Weddings!! I was a bridesmaid- the show ended up being hysterical, but I agree, there was a lot of added stress and cameramen following her and her husband around. They got a free trip and money as the prize, though! Might be worth it!

which episode??? I love that show!! I watch it more than I'd like to admit (and each episode multiple times....)

Im getting married after the cutoff but I would not apply. I have no interest on being on tv and being judged by strangers.

Basically 4 girls compete against each other and each girl rates certain aspects of the wedding day. At the end, the girl with the most points wins a free trip/HM to wherever the envelope designates. Hope I covered everything. LOL

One of our very own LIW brides was on Four Weddings and she won a trip to Mexico!!

Hey! I won Four Weddings (and a Mechanical Bull). Honestly they interview you for 10 minutes before the ceremony and then for like 10 minutes toward the end of the night.

They really aren't intrusive at all. They follow you around non-stop at the other three weddings but it's more about the guest brides than the couple getting married, who they film just like a wedding videographer would. I had some guests who didn't even realize a television show was being filmed until someone told them lol.I did have a larger wedding and the two smaller weddings on my episode I felt them being there was a lot more noticeable.

The crew was really great to work with and I had a lot of fun. Just thought I'd add my experience in case anyone is on the fence.

Ahhh! Some girl just said 'I'm giving her wedding an 8 b/c it was cold...' Ooops, that's the one think I forgot to do on my check list: Confirm with God that the weather will be a perfect 72 degrees, partly cloudy so the sun isnt too harsh and no humidity. This is why I couldnt be on this show!!! Makes me nuts!

I'm with you on this! Not for me!

I wouldn't be able to judge anyone because its the couples wedding and what they want. More than likely their is going to be things I like and don't like because its not what I would do for my wedding. Plus some of those ladies are rude and mean.
