Fox Hollow
My cousin just told me she heard of a nice place for weddings called Fox HollowHas anyone heard anything good or bad about them? What is their price range? Would it be suitable for a small wedding? I tried looking on the web--but can't find it..
my hunt for a good reception hall continues.. (out of all the places i've seen i like coral house the best & this weekend i plan to check out Sans, but i am curious to know more about fox hollow)

Go to scottobrothers.comThe price there really varies depending on time of year and what day etc. They have different sized rooms.

Re: Fox Hollow
I'm getting married there!!!!!!!!!! I was going to mention to you to check it out, BUT I didn't want to push it. I wasn't sure if your heart was set on Coral House or Sans Souci.Fox Hollow is BEAUTIFUL! It is owned by the Scotto Brothers who are VERY reputable in the catering business!
Here is there website.

Re: Fox Hollow
I looked at Fox Hollow and I liked it but I wanted a place that only did one wedding at a time. They have a few rooms of different sizes so I'm sure there is one for a small wedding. The person I met with was very nice. There are several brides here that have had their weddings there so I'm sure they can help you out. We are having our wedding at the Milleridge? Have you looked there? They have a cottage and a carriage house for events. We are using the cottage b/c our wedding is very big but the carriage house would probably work for you. If you want further information - forum e-mail me.

forum TammyJill, She had her wedding there and it turned out beautiful. It is a beautiful place. The Scotto Brothers ,who own a bunch of properties have a great reputation.
I have heard the food and the grounds, and service are excellent.
I believe for a Sept- Oct wedding I was quoted under $100pp + grat, tax.

Re: Fox Hollow
I am a Scotto Bride as well - getting married at the Westbury Manor - I loved the Fox Hollow too but chose not to get married there since a large portion of my guests (including immediate family) have already been there for numerous weddings and I wanted to be different. Every time I have been there, it's been fabulous! The website ihas good photos and the manager, Mike, is great too - good luck!

Re: Fox Hollow
I just got married there on Nov 23, but I havent had a chance to post a full review or pics. But the Fox Hollow was awesome, the place is so beautiful, and there was soooo much food, but the most outstanding thing was that there service is amazing, they make sure everything is perfect. I would definitly recommend them!!! We had the larger room for our wedding and I didnt see any other brides at all!Edited to say that we booked only 9 months before the date, but the cost was about $70 per person because it was a late booking on a sat afternoon!

Re: Fox Hollow
I'm getting married at the Fox Hollow too! As soon as we walked in we knew it was the place for us. We are using the Winter Garden Pavillion for our reception and the minimum was 120. I think that is their smallest room. But you may be able to use one of their cocktail hour rooms if you have a much smaller wedding. The price ranges depending on the day/time and month of year. I think the range is about $55-125. Fox Hollow Here's a picture of the Winter Garden Pavillion:

Re: Fox Hollow
I think the Fox Hollow is very nice. The food is delicious and there is plenty of it. It is beatiful in the summer because they have such lovely grounds but it looks even more charming right now with all the lights and holiday decorations. December is great for the budget and winter weddings can be amazing. Another great thing is that the Inn at Fox Hollow is right next door so guests can literally walk back to the hotel. Definitely worth checking out!Have you looked into Vanderbilt Mansion, they have a room that is appropriate for smaller parties.

Re: Fox Hollow
I'm getting married at the Fox Hollow in May. I love it, I knew I wanted to book almost as soon as I walked in and I was very picky. I'm in the large room too but there are smaller rooms which are very nice too. How many guests are you having? The people there are so nice and very accomodating too. I've been dealing with JR and he's been great. He lowered the minimum and the price for the garden terrace room since my wedding is on Mother's day and its not that popular a day. I'm so excited to have my wedding there, I can't wait. Let me know if you have more questions.

Re: Fox Hollow
I am also getting married at the Fox Hollow this April. I have been thrilled with our choice, they have always been very accommodating when I've stopped in (with another bride from this site who is getting married there as well). They've let us revisit the rooms as long as there aren't any parties going on. It's a beautiful place and have heard nothing but wonderful reviews. Any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Re: Fox Hollow
Thanks for the reviews on Fox Hollow-- I looked at the Scotto Brothers website & the place looks very nice & impressive.I know its hard to compare, but if any of you girls who are familiar with both Fox Hollow & Coral House had to choose, which one would you pick & why?
I'm just trying to narrow down my choices & I would like to decide this weekend on a place so that I can start planning everything else. So I planning to see Sans & I am considering of making an appt. w/ Fox Hollow. (After that I am hoping to make my decision!)
Also in terms of price -- for a wedding in November which is more accomadating/ cheaper-- Coral House or Fox Hollow?
