does anyone know which one they use?

i have plenty of time before i have to pick out a cake, but i need a birthday cake for this weekend so i was hoping to use whatever bakery they use as a preview of how the wedding cake will taste.

Re: Fox Hollow Bakery

Francesco's in Hicksville. They are fantastic....we have been getting cakes from them for years. They are on South Broadway right off of 107.

They are right by my new house so we go get danishes from them every Sunday. Haven't tried their cakes yet but their cookies and danishes are great.

Re: Fox Hollow Bakery

i just had my bridal shower at the FH and everything was amazing except for the cake...everything about it was wrong...the fondant was lumpy and messy (my MOH had to try to fix it with her hands) the ribbon color was wrong (even tho we gave them a sample)....the shape was wrong...

it tasted fresh but we were supposed to have bannanas and strawberries...i think maybe one person said they saw a peice of strawberry...

westbury manor uses francescos bakery also and for that reason we are going to take a credit and use another bakery for the wedding.

Re: Fox Hollow Bakery

My wedding, RD, and shower cakes were all from Francescos and were all amazing.

Michelle - you should call Francesco and talk to him about it. That stinks!! Maybe he can make it up to you. Did the hall know that there was a problem with it?

Re: Fox Hollow Bakery

I have to admit that I might be asking for a credit for the cake. I brought a cake to a friends for a nice dinner and everyone loved the cake, but to me it was dry.

And... I e-mailed them weeks ago about a cake and how much it would cost to upgrade it to match the picture. Never got a response..
