Why is it they dont allow food tasting?
Also do they at least have cake testing?

I thought it was a little odd as well. They told us to come eat at the restaurant, and they'd put the app's and drinks and desserts on the house.

However, the reason why I was OKAY with this was b/c it's Scotto Brother's food - which is top rated, and they're always on the Food Network and other cooking shows.

I've had their food at Chateau Briand, and it was absolutely amazing! I trust it!

I sure hope there's a cake tasting though! Perhaps we can get a petition going?

When I booked they said dinner for my fiance & I would be on the house. The reason they gave me was that 'The Scotto name speaks for itself' 'They are widely know throughout the world for their superior cuisine...

I think it should definitely be free! You going to spend 20,000 + with them, so what's wrong with free tasting? I don't need to have it at the restaurant.

I am to dinner there on friday. We'll eat for free, but we will have to pay for our parents.

I am concerned about the cake. We aren't having a venetian hour, so I really want an outrageous one. I wonder what they can do? If not I may just get an outside person to do it.

we ate at the restaurant the night we booked..but it was before we signed the papers..i think fh needed one more reason to book..the food was amazing..they gave us a 'sample menu' that offered dishes that are served at the weddings...i believe the prices were reduced...they did however pick up the bar bill...we ended up signing the papers that night after dinner...

but to address your posting..they should offer tastings!
