The space is nice, just be aware of their food - I was there for a wedding a few months ago and dinner was inedible. I had the veg. option and I was presented with raw veggies covered in char; my FH had the beef and was given 3 pathetic slices less than 1/4 inch thick, and was ignored when he asked for seconds. Others at the table agreed that the food really wasn't very good, regardless of what entree was ordered. It seems that the food has deteriorated, as my FSIL & FMIL were there for a wedding 2 years ago and were raving about the food. Wish I had more positive things to say.

Yep. I had a great time at my friend's wedding, but I personally would not book FH.. When they described the veg option to me I passed and went with the salmon. it was so overcooked that it was completely inedible. We were kind of at the far end of the room and it def. wasn't one waiter per table so no one came back to ask how the food was, so i had no opportunity to get another one.

I also didn't like the fact that they had no actual hospitality for guests arriving as little as 20 minutes early, and as soon as you stepped out of the room to go to the bathroom (and even sometimes in the room) you could hear the music blaring from the wedding in another room,.

I eat fish occasionally for a number of reasons, though I prefer not to.

Ask for a tasting before booking. Plenty of people have had good experiences, too.

These responses are a surprise to me. I've been to a number of weddings at Fox Hollow and have NEVER had a problem with the food....

I'll make sure to set up a tasting before we book-i guess every ones opinon will be different. This was the first thread I've seen saying the food was bad so maybe it's not the norm.

They won't do a tasting before your deposit, so we ate at their restaurant (not the same, I know, but it helped) and they comped drinks and apps, and also brought us a little dish of food from the cocktail hour of a wedding that happened to be going on.

Don't let anyone's negative opinions sway your thoughts. You'll never know until you check it out. Someone is always going to have some sort of complaint about something. Good luck

Re: Fox Hollow Caterers

I am getting married there Sunday, and have been to several weddings there. Every time we have been there, for a wedding or for the restaurant, the food has been outstanding. As far as I know, I have never heard a complaint from anyone who has attended a wedding there regarding the food.

We have nothing but good things to say about the Fox Hollow, and will update more after the wedding. But believe me, i have never heard a complaint, so these comments come as a BIG shock to me
