I don't think there is one yet but we should start a Fox Hollow/Chateau Briand thread because I don't think there is that many for both and since they are both owned by the Scotto Brothers there will be more of us.

Yeah that is fine with me. As long as it is ok with you. I just don't think there are too many girls using them so it was just an idea. Hope everyone is good with it.

How do you feel about the ceilings,....I loved the whole place because it didn't feel like a 'HALL' you know what I mean. It wasn't overly themed, or gaudy looking, but Im getting nervous about the low ceilings in the reception room, even though I do think the room is lovely. As of right now are guest list is at 150. This may fluctuate. We spoke with Ken and he did our contract. He was very nice. At first I was worried about not getting a food tasting, but I hear that usually food tasting is done when you have a strict menu of 1 or 2 dishes, and our menu has 8 entrees to choose from, but being on this site all i hear is rave reviews about the food so I feel much better about that.
How many people are you having? I am even considering, if the ceilings continue to drive me nuts, about asking my fiance to cut his list down...although I doubt that would happen, when we booked we were at 130 and ken said that it would be too many people for the WGP so we went wtih the room we have now

Well Ken told us that if we do round chairs we can fit 160 and if we use the long ovalish rectangular ones the room wiill fiit 180. How do you feel about the ceilings, Im obsessed with this ceiling thing, its making me nervous, but I love the place and hear so many good things about it, i also love the fact that there is a real bar and not those cart ones

we're inviting over 165 people. no final number yet.
The ceilings are kind of bothering me too BUT i think it's b/c when i think wedding i think of those high ceilings like at the Crest Hollow. However, I picked the Fox Hollow b/c it didnt have your typical wedding hall feel to it and i think the ceilings are part of the reason why.
If you are considering switching to the WGP do it NOW because we had the option when we booked and were told we could switch when we got closer to the wedding but it turns out another LIW bride is using the WGP 30 minutes after my cocktail hour for her Reception.
I think the ceilings will be fine. I really wouldnt worry about it.

We loved the Fox Hollow for the same reason. It didn't feel like a hall, or over done or anything. WGP is for our CT hour, and I sort of hope that no one is using that room for their reception afterwards, especially since Ken told us we would be the only wedding on that side that day. I will have to look into that just to make sure
